How to Verify Your Merchant Account (KYB)

Modified on Tue, 21 Jan, 2025 at 12:17 PM

Once you've reviewed APS services, submitted an enquiry, and discussed terms of service with a representative, the next step is to verify your merchant account by completing the KYB (Know Your Business) process.

This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and enables you to start using APS services seamlessly.

Key Steps to Verify Your Merchant Account

  1. Assigned KYB Onboarding Representative
After agreeing on the terms of service, a dedicated KYB onboarding representative will be assigned to guide you through the verification process and address any questions or concerns.

  2. Complete the Online Onboarding Process
Follow the online steps provided by APS to submit the required information and documents. This includes:
    • Company Details: General information about your business.
    • Supporting Documents: Relevant documents such as company licenses and certifications.
    • Company Structure: Details about your organization’s structure, including shareholders and stakeholders.
    • UBOs (Ultimate Beneficial Owners) & Directors: Information about the owners and directors of your company.
    • KYC (Know Your Customer): Personal verification for UBOs and directors.

  3. Review and Approval
Once all the information and documents are submitted, the APS team will review your application. Your assigned KYB representative will notify you if additional information or documentation is needed.
Upon successful review and approval, your merchant account will be verified and ready for use.

By completing the KYB process efficiently, you ensure a smooth onboarding experience with APS. If you encounter any issues during the process, your dedicated KYB representative will be available to assist you.
